110816 Walkertshofen for lunch

Heidi and I cycled the 170km round trip to Walkertshofen for lunch at the hotel Burgberg today. Started with breakfast at Heidis and then did the 80km to Walkertshofen. After a great lunch, we cycled the 90km home stopping off for an ice coffee on the way.

Met a man cycing from the northern tip of Denmark to Lake Constance. He asked if he could make use of our wind shadow.

110814 Gräner Ödenalpe

29°C in the shade, 73km and almost 1200 meters of climbing. A great tour in to the Austrian Alps but we were all glad to be home.

A quick tour between the rain with Karin. It rained all morning but we took advantage of a gap in the showers to cycle up the Edelsberg (at a cracking pace - I was covered in sweat!) Still got wet on the last downhill.

110703 Roßbergalpe and Sorgalpe

A Sunday tour suggested by Moni - thanks Moni. Up to the Roßbergalpe for lunch high above the Oberallgäu valley. Then back down and up the 400m to the Wertacher Hörnle. A crazy ride down and a few drinks in the Sorgalpe.
