Life is not a Practice

Yesterday we were skiing and this evening we were race biking. What a life!



Four of us were out and did 48kms with 430 meters of climbing non stop and at an average speed of 26km/h. No wonder I am tired out.

It snowed on Saturday night so instead of cycling we were back on our skis. Probably the last ski trip of the season and the first with the whole family.



We went to the Hahnenkamm just over the border in Austria.

Three and a half hours of spinning this evening at the Pfronten fitness center (http://www.sauna-fitnessinsel.de/)

Great music and great fun. Be interesting to see if my legs still work tomorrow.

Tuesday night is race bike night and despite rain during the day it had cleared by the evening. Four of us were out.

Not so sunny and not so warm but Alison and I still went out race biking. Cycled to Wertach and then on up to visit some friends. Found them at home but very ill so cycled back.

Out exploring with Max. Found an interesting path up and an adventurous path down from the ruined castles.

The clocks changed to summer time at the weekend so we were out as a group on our race bikes.

After race biking yesterday, It was back on the skis today. Alison, Rhiannon and I went to Hahnenkamm (http://www.reuttener-seilbahnen.at/) for a few hours of skiing early in the morning.



Great snow (at least until 10:30) and no people made for an enjoyable morning

Visited Oxford on Monday and then two days at the Open University in Milton Keynes. Lots to learn but fun.

Two days ago I cycled up above 1100m and today I was out on Bognor Regis sea front.



Afternoon in Oxford.

Out in to Austria with the race bike. Short top and trousers with people cross country skiing past. Very surreal.

Work then skiing from nine to twelve with some colleagues from my present job.


Then in the afternoon the mayors 60th birthday party followed by an hours spinning.


Then back to Nesselwang for circle training and volleyball.
