60km with the race bike across two passes. Took three hours so a nice relaxed ride through the Allgäu countryside.

This morning Max suggested a bike ride up the Alpspitz and Alison decided to jog up with us.



From Nesselwang to the top of the mountain was 700 mters of climb and Alison jogged faster than I could cycle.

At the top it began to rain and so Alison took the cable car down while Max and I got as dirty as possible on a wet, muddy, slippy path. Great fun! Max fell off three times but didn't damage himself or his bike too badly.

Fathers day and we were out all day biking and enjoying life. Nine of us (including Alison) during the day and four of us in the evening.

Heidi, Moni, Jon and I (still recovering from a weekend of being ill). Winter is back but well wrapped up we managed once round the Grüntensee.

Yesterday we were skiing and this evening we were race biking. What a life!



Four of us were out and did 48kms with 430 meters of climbing non stop and at an average speed of 26km/h. No wonder I am tired out.

It snowed on Saturday night so instead of cycling we were back on our skis. Probably the last ski trip of the season and the first with the whole family.



We went to the Hahnenkamm just over the border in Austria.
