Just got down off the Riedberger Horn and Karin Korn rang and convinced me that I wanted to go cycling.
Over the Edelsberg and then down the trail to the Stubetal Alp for sausage and chips before returning home.

We cycled through Vilstal and then up the Pfeifferberg and finally finished with a drink at the Untere Reuttewanne Alp before cycling round the lake home.

Thursday evening and six of us rode up to the Vilser Alm. On the way got caught in a 10 minute tropical downpour complete with lightning and thunder.
After a drink at the Alm we cycled to the Kögelweiher for a swim and then back to the Bistro for a coffee. Great summer evening.

A great mountain bike tour to the top of an amazing mountain. Alison's first time out on a "Frenchie" mountain bike.
And an incredible trail from the top to the bottom - 600 meters!
With a picnic on top of the mountain and stops at two mountain Alms to quench our thirst.

Jon suggested that we redo a classic from last year. Five of us set off to the Ödenalpe and four of us arrived - one changed her mind on the way and went off with some one else :-(
Apparently the weather was cold and overcast in Nesselwang so it is good that we were in Austria where we had sun and very warm.
