140517-18 Spinning Marathon

The fitness studio that we have been visiting this winter had a 24 hour spinning marathon from 09:00 yesterday to 09:00 today.
I took part from 21:00 to 03:00 and Alison from 06:00-09:00.
The photo was taken about 02:30 which is maybe why I look like a Zombie.
It was great fun with a different trainer every hour, a wide selection of music and food and drink.

140203 Spinning with Polar FT60

Apparently to train effectively you need to train at the correct heartbeat. I have known this for ages but never got round to buying a heart rate monitor.
But now I have treated myself to a Polar FT60 so can be sure I stay at the correct level and can keep a record of how fit I get at https://polarpersonaltrainer.com/

140113 Spinning

Once again we, Alison, Heidi and I, are spinning through the winter. This year we are at a different studio ( http://www.fitness-seeg.de/ ) but it is just as much fun as last year.
This evening was my second session and the music this evening was fantastic and included ACDC which resulted in me ending up completely sweated through but feeling like I had really achieved something.

Three and a half hours of spinning this evening at the Pfronten fitness center (http://www.sauna-fitnessinsel.de/)
