Life is not a Practice

Tuesday evening so Heidi, Jon and I were out race biking. Cycled to Wertach and then on through the Königsstrasse to Sonthofen.



From Sonthofen we returned via the Jochpass.



And the swimming in the Grüntensee.

After so many days of abstinence I was looking forward to Tuesday cycling. But Heidi and Jon had appointments so I was out alone. Couldn't get motivated to do a huge tour so cycled round the Grüntensee.

Jon wanted to cycle up the Alpspitz so we did.
And then down towards Kappel and then back up to the back of the Edelsberg and then along a great (but very slippy) trail to Stuibental and then home. :-)

Tuesday evening. Jon on holiday in Egypt and Heidi out elsewhere so there was just me.

Didn't have a plan so just wandered around chosing left or right at random.

Just over 3 hours so a moving average of 24,6 km/h!

Tuesday evening but rain was forecast so Heidi and I took the mountain bikes out.

We cycled up to "the Grat" on the side of the Alpspitz. Actually we pushed quite a bit as it was steep, slippy and very muddy.



By the time we reached the top it was pouring down abd even sleeting so we put all our clothes on and then raced back to Nesselwang and hot showers.

Got to Jon and it was looking like rain so he said "Round the Grüntensee?" I countered with "Twice?" He answered "the second time without me!"



So that is what we did. One slightly linger run round the lake after which Jon went home with a big smile on his face and we did a second, shorter loop.

Great fun was had by all.

Tueday evening is race bike evening. Jon, Heidi and I were out enjoying the sunshine on a quick tour to Füssen.

Tuesday evening is "Tuesday Bikers" but this evening it was too cold for Jon and Heidi had another date. So it was just me out on my race bike on my own.

Another rainy Tuesday so once again there were only two of us. We did the same route as on the 21st - 12km with 580 meters of climbing. Track is at http://www.gpsies.com/map.do?fileId=kfoubesghzjabsgp - but a little faster. Just once up the mountain and back down but at least we were out biking.
